Would you rather.. be able to talk to animals, or speak all languages

Would you rather.. be able to talk to animals, or speak all languages During one of my English classes today, I asked a student if he would rather do work in his current office, or the office in a photo we were talking about. He hadnt come across this construction yet, and so I stopped the lesson we were working on to focus on it.I remembered that around Christmas time I stumbled across rrrather.com  with my siblings, and we spent an hour or so asking each other Would you rather questions. Heres how it works. Below is a screen shot taken from the website. So, you can use the text above to make a Would you rather question: Would you rather be able to talk to animals, or be able to speak all foreign languages? This is the same as asking, would you prefer to be able to talk with all animals, or be able to speak all foreign languages? Its a great way to ask about hypothetical situations. Note that every sentence starts with the modal verb would. We cannot substitute other modal verbs, such as could or might, in this construction. Here is another photo. Ive c reated a gap fill below it. See if you can make your own Would you rather sentence.Would you rather be ___ ______ _____ ____ ___ _____, or __ _______?Visit the website at rrrather.com to continue practicing these sentences.

First Tutors partners with Potential Plus to help disadvantaged children reach their maximum potential

First Tutors partners with Potential Plus to help disadvantaged children reach their maximum potential First Tutors is an international private tuition service allowing students and parents to choose a home tutor for all popular subjects at many levels and begin private tuition at their home or the tutor's. We showcase both home tutors and private tutors who teach from their own home. First Tutors puts you in control to choose private tutors you like at hourly rates you feel appropriate. Tutors write their own tutoring profiles so you can get a strong sense of how they approach private tuition. Our platform enables you to arrange lessons, and if your tutor doesn't meet your requirements, leave feedback to tell us why and we'll connect you to another one free of charge, giving you peace of mind in your tutoring. We, at First Tutors, firmly believe that all children should be given the best tools for ensuring a better education regardless of their backgrounds. That's why we have teamed up with Potential Plus, to help children from extremely disadvantaged backgrounds find a tutor should they feel they need one. A recent article in The Telegraph states: ...the growth of private tuition matters. Nobody would deny that parents have a right to do what they can for their children. But as a society we have a duty to make sure that those without the means to exercise that right don't lose out. Subjects that are most tutored for are Maths, English, Sciences and Languages as children can fall behind and schools do not offer the support these children need to catch up. The same article states: more enlightened tutor agencies are developing their own programmes to support disadvantaged pupils. First Tutors hast been trying to set up this kind of charity work for years as we understand the important effect private tuition can have on a child's education. We have many tutors willing to offer free tuition to children that would otherwise not have had this opportunity and would be happy to hear from other charities looking to help disadvantaged children. Potential Plus is an independent charity which was established in 1967 that supports the social, emotional and learning needs of children with high learning potential of all ages and backgrounds. This includes children and young people: who have been identified as gifted and talented who have the ability to achieve; but who, for whatever reason, are not achieving their potential who are dual and multiple exceptional (gifted with a disability or learning difficulty) who are profoundly gifted First Tutors have formed a partnership with Potential Plus that aims to find a volunteer tutor for children who have a specific learning disability or who are from disadvantaged backgrounds. These children fall under the category of 'dual and multiple exceptional'; children that do not have the means or the funds to hire a tutor. Our partnership was formed through a common want of enabling these children to grow and learn in confidence and to achieve their full potential. First Tutors has provided tutors willing to help these children learn. There will be no fees included from either parties. Potential Plus has provided the details of the children in need of a tutor and First Tutors has matched them to a suitable volunteer tutor in their area. Parents want the best for their children and both First Tutors and Potential Plus have found a way to ensure parents that do not have the means to ensure their children reach their maximum potential, have the same chance of success as their peers.

I like TutorZ

I like TutorZ These are the nice words of our featured tutor Matt Horwich about TutorZ. I like TutorZ because it is such a quick and easy platform for students as well as tutors to use. As soon as I get a notification, I purchase the lead for as little as two dollars. Within minutes I have made a call or sent a direct email. I usually set up the first session for that week or sometimes that very same day. Thanks to Dirk and his team, there is great tutor+student match made every few minutes. Now lets start studying! Thank you Matt. I shared your good words with all TutorZ team members.  You made our day! Dirk Wagner

The Details You Need About Aloha Computer Tutor

The Details You Need About Aloha Computer TutorAloha Computer Tutor is an exciting new product that allows you to easily connect to the internet, get help from tutors and even build your own library of internet resources. Using this program you can access up to 25,000 quality online tutors, with the ability to create a personalized tutor profile as well as adding your own online teaching tips, and share information. The webmaster of Aloha Computer Tutor, Brian Provost, made a compelling argument for the easy accessibility of quality resources on the internet, and this is very much true in the case of this product. He explains that students have several different levels of understanding and need a certain level of connectivity to help them retain information and make connections with others. The individual nature of students' personal circumstances makes them a prime target for offering more convenient access to online resources, and this was just one of the many improvements that were implemented in this program. There is an excellent development of search features to help you find specific information and resources. In fact, if you click the search box you can instantly see what resources are available to help you in your course, your online tutorial or a project. The tutor section of the program was expanded to include full user profiles, allowing you to customize the tutor according to your own needs and preferences. This was a great addition, because now you can determine exactly what type of tutor you want to be, how much time you want to spend on your tutoring session, and what type of questions you would like answered by your tutor.Another significant feature of this program is the interactive learning module, which enables students to take a single course lesson and view it as a complete project with assigned due dates, due dates and test dates. Once the instructor has reviewed the work, he will be able to provide feedback. All of these features allow you t o monitor your progress throughout the entire course. If you find yourself struggling, you can turn off the tutoring feature, or just continue with your study at your own pace. The main purpose of this product is to make studying easier, and this is done through the use of a program designed specifically for the internet. This program provides you with all the resources you need to complete a course, all in one convenient package, allowing you to stay organized as well as help you keep track of your progress.
